Vat TireI have just carried my 6.5 gallon 'carboy' into the spare bathroom tub and set the fermenting lock with my 2nd batch of this dark, toasty, roasted ale wort. In a couple of days, I'll be bottling this baby and all of our friends will come over to taste it. I just love to watch people drink my beer.
Val and I went to the Apache Wells gas station (The only gas station I know of with a massage parlor built in) and had 3.5 gallons of propane added to our propane bottle. Cost was only 11.00 USD. This means that the last five brew batches were only 2.20 USD a piece. Now, I have a feel for the amount of propane required to boil a brew for an hour or more. As well as a respect for oil company prices.
