In case you are not familiar with the term TLA, CPG is short for Chairman's Planning Guide in that quaint Three Letter Acronym (TLA) language. This was the vehicle used with the Colorado Jaycee's some 30 years ago to propose some of the 'most fun ever' projects that made friends all over the country for the Colorado, Arvada and Golden JC chapters. Let's start with....
PRIMARY PURPOSE
To promote the Minnesota State Fair, Norwegian family heritage, WCCO radio, Minnesota State Fair appetites and scores of needy charities preparing food at the Fair grounds.

PRIMARY PLAN

The preparation of the flat bread called 'Lefse' will be sold to every guest of the 10 day fair for a very modest price. Contests willl be conducted daily for the "Best" Lefse story for each day of the Fair.

A Minnesota company that manufactures a Lefse Grill will be promoted to increase volume production of Lefse and enhance contribution dollars by a generous wholesale price of the above mentioned Grill unit.

Other sponsors will be selected for potatoes, flour, sugar, butter and milk and other supplies used in the performance of this project.

WCCO will supply operation headquarters and perhaps help communicate this projects best wishes to all participants and forever regress the 'Tom Thumb' metrics from the Minnesota State Fair record book with a Norwegian favorite recipe only produced in great numbers at the Fair facility.

A tent will be set up at the WCCO end of the park in front of the Grand Stand to house supplies and activities. Potatoe Sacks will be stacked in a sepentine line in fron of the tent and an array of Lefse Grills will crank out 'rounds' of Lefse, 24X7 over the 10 day Fair.

Odin will be moved by the Potatoe's sacrificed in his name and bless all that attend and support this project!
